Katia LeMone  is a  Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) serving as a homebirth midwife for the Las Cruces New Mexico and El Paso Texas area since 1991.   She is the senior midwife for All Natural Birth, a homebirth service for Dona Ana county.

Katia is certified through the North American Registry of Midwives and she is a licensed midwife in both New Mexico and Texas.

Katia has been serving women and homebirth families for many years as a midwife in Las Cruces and El Paso.  She was trained at Maternidad La Luz in El Paso in 1991 and has attended over 500 births including home births and birth center births. 

Katia has lived and worked with Native American communities, East African villages and she grew up on the US/Mexico border.  She has a Masters Degree in Public Health and is a Certified Professional Midwife and Licensed Midwife in New Mexico and Texas. 

Since 2009 Katia has served the community as a health coach helping people with nutrition, weight management and guiding folks on the path to optimal health.   She is personally on this journey and has lost 130 pounds since August 2009.  Losing weight is only part of the process towards regaining health.  Katia now actively promotes healthy lifestyles as a health coach. Katia provides midwifery services including homebirth, natural childbirth education, prenatal, labor, birth and postpartum care.  

Katia also offers holistic well-woman care to women of all ages including annual exams, health screenings, labwork, education as well as  homeopathic and herbal remedies and nutritional counseling. 

Katia is also a public speaker on the topics of women's health, nutrition, weight loss and management during pregnancy and postpartum and of course, midwifery and home birth.  If you are interested in her coming to speak to your group, please call or email her for arrangements. .
